About Brunswick Valley Bridge Club

Our Club is located at the Brunswick Heads Community Centre, which is situated in an attractive location just across from the beautiful surf beach at Brunswick Heads. We are a short drive from Byron Bay, Bangalow, and Mullumbimby areas. It is also an easy drive from the coastal and hinterland regions of the lower Tweed Shire.

The Club was founded in 1985 by the late Dr John Gall. Originally meetings were held in a small hall (at the rear of the current library) in the centre of the village. The Club moved to its present venue at the new Community Centre when it opened in 1994.

Initially there were around 12 regular members playing twice a week, but this quickly increased to around 16 players. Numbers have grown steadily over the years and we now have over 50 members and associate members. Some of the founding members still come and enjoy our Bridge Sessions. The Club is affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation and participates in the Master Point scheme.

We play two Bridge sessions per week which are held on Saturday and Monday afternoons - 12.45 for 1 pm.
